I am helpless

to the necromancy

of light

I am

a being

of shade and depth

shadow and edge

darkness

pitch

I see no difference

between the color of life forces

scarlet sanguine 

or verdant viridescence

I see 

only 

the 

ebony

the 

pitch

the

raven wing

dragon glass

onyx shine

event horizon

obsidian oblivion

and

as
